Pinpoint Community Guidelines

Welcome. We're happy you're here!

This is our most basic agreement:

As members of this community we treat everyone with utmost respect regardless of sex, age, race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, socioeconomic status, citizen status, parental status, mental and physical abilities/characteristics, communication style, or profession.

We're here to learn, grow, connect, and thrive so we can best help the patients/clients we serve. Period. Therefore, we enforce a zero tolerance policy for any comments, writing, or behaviors that are bullying, demeaning, racist, classist, sexually inappropriate, harassing, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise detracts from that simple focus.

If you experience an unlikely incident of boundary violation, disrespect, or unethical behavior, please document and report it here (with screenshots if possible) and it will be handled accordingly. You may choose to remain anonymous.

Thank you for keeping our community healthy.

We're all learning, always.

Our community is made up of curious minds from all walks of life, different backgrounds and experience levels, and various professions— and that's what makes it so great! Each member promises to apply the knowledge and skills gained through Pinpoint Education only within their legal scope of practice and to uphold the highest ethical standards.

Pinpoint Education embraces diversity and inclusivity in all of its expressions. Please give us any feedback if there's any way we can improve our accessibility and inclusivity efforts. We're open to learning and improving. We're here for you.

Finally, there's the implicit understanding we're an evidence-informed and science-based platform. We're all here to learn, exchange information, and practice a growth mindset so we may help others. The best way to learn is from each other, through asking questions. So, ask! And if you see an opportunity to offer an answer or share your unique perspective, share it! Everyone can teach and this way everyone wins.
To teach is to learn twice.

*We don't ever foresee there ever being an issue, but in the very unlikely event there is one: please note that as stated in the Terms & Conditions, Pinpoint Education reserves the legal right to permanently remove and block any member who violates this basic agreement of human decency. This includes being barred from enrolling in or attending any future Pinpoint Education classes, events or workshops (online or otherwise), as well as permanently losing access to membership, even if there is a known attempt to re-register under a different email address. If a class or event has already been paid for or is in progress, the violator may be removed immediately and may not be entitled to any refund. Thank you in advance for keeping things copasetic around here :)
